June in Review

June in Review is here to highlight what happened at the blog and maybe attract your attention to a piece that you might want to read but have missed.

Silly me, how could I try to kill this blog? As it was said, silly me. Ha. We're moving on…

…To me, boasting that I have got so much inspiration that I thought up a new rating system. Technically, it was in July, but I sat down to make it in June. Besides, what's the point of bringing it to your mind in a month when you are already familiar with these evaluation changes?

Apart from that, I made a few banners at the right to advertize the still nascent …In Genres series, Film Acrostics, and Quoty Mondays, formerly known as MP (Monday Posts). There's nothing overly creative and original in new ratings or those links, but knowing me, it's actually an achievement! Besides, I truly enjoyed creating those pictures. I'm thinking of mastering the basics of web design, but I sincerely hope it'll be left where it belongs, in my thoughts.

Anyway, here goes the stuff that I wrote in June.

Film Acrostics

- Following Stevee Taylor's example, I worked hard on the piece 100 Film Facts About Me. It turned out to be popular series among lots of film bloggers, too.
- Totally nothing special, but I gathered a few happy images to bright up the day.

Not only I invested my work to this blog, but also a guest contributor L Crossley, who reviewed The Godfather: Part II (1974).

That was the month of June at Eternity of Dream. I think it's the first time when I reviewed films of one year. However, I've got tiny plans for my reviewing later this summer, so it'll change a little.

Thank you for visiting my blog! I'm really happy to have it and I'm keen to work harder to make it more interesting.

  1. The sidebar images are definitely an improvement, and very useful. They provide a more interesting navigation, which is something crucial for any website. I should consider getting the LinkWithin widget on mine. I navigate a lot through it, here.

    1. Thank you Sofia! Yes, LinkWithin is very useful and enticing -- I also start clicking on this widget links at other blogs and it sometimes leads to surprising and interesting articles.

    1. Thank you! I shall not think about it again. I had "my English is awful" phase and "this is pointless" phase, so I'm done with it and happy blogging now!
